“The pregnancy doctor,” Yoshida says quickly before he slips out the door and down the hall. The words make something cold settle into Katsuki's chest. -

Those last few words shatter Izuku completely, crushed by the weight of a life cut short before it had the chance to be loved, or to give love in return. And saying it in front of Kacchan, the person he cares about the most; the person he secretly admires as a bit more than a friend, but wouldn't dare tell him; the person who almost died for him once already, and his heart couldn't handle it at all…
