All Zuko had been trying to do was wash some dishes. Or: The one where Zuko and Katara both mean well, but still can't find their footing around each other in time to prevent explosive shouting, broken dishes, an impromptu arrest, and Team Avatar's third- nay, fourth jailbreak. Fifth? They've lost count at this point, but at least they're not willing to lose Zuko... now, if only he realized that.

Ivan sighed, long and theatrical. The kind of sound that belonged in a cathedral at midnight or a courtroom minutes before sentencing. He pressed a hand to his temple, not because it hurt, but because he liked imagining himself in oil portraits.
“Before we begin,” Ivan said, “can we agree that the word strumming is vulgar?”

Summary
Till doesn't remember much. Most of his days back then, he spent in the warm, suffocating embrace of darkness. But sometimes, he finds himself in that sliver of colourless, hazy space between wakefulness and the comfort of a dreamless void. In those rare moments of consciousness, where he becomes aware of the dull aches and stinging pains flaring to life across his body; he can always feel the same piercing gaze. Familiar eyes that flare the red of a dying star pin him to the bed, like needles holding down a fragile specimen of insect.
