Summary

But her struggling mental health is impacting the entire Clan - and more than one cat is growing angry and impatient. In the other Clans, dangerous new alliances are forming, and a new threat arrives in the forest. Meanwhile, his personal life is changing as his relationships develop and shift. He must sort through his surprising new feelings for Sandstorm and handle his bond with Cloudpaw as they become at odds with the apprentice's beliefs.
Can Fireheart defend the cats he cares about from the swirling dangers from outside? Can he take charge of ThunderClan in Bluestar's place? And most importantly, what will Tigerclaw do to expand his power beyond just ShadowClan?

Summary
Burning Thistles is a Warrior Cats AU based on two main ideas: 1) Firestar (and his siblings) is Spottedleaf's kit, and 2) Spottedpaw and Thistleclaw had kits before Spottedleaf got away from him.
Firekit grows up in ThunderClan under the scrutiny of his clanmates because of the circumstances of his birth, but at least he has his siblings, and his best friends, Runningpaw and Darkkit, by his sides. He loves his mother, Spottedleaf, and his aunt, Willowpelt, dearly, but a part of him wishes he could always meet the father everyone hates him for, Thistleclaw. When he gets his wish, he could never imagine the consequences that would come following the rewritten and altered events of The Prophecies Begin.

What if Firestar from Warriors The Prophecies Begin is the reincarnated Gray Wing from Warriors Dawn of the Clans. And what if this Firestar remembers his past life, tries to join the clans, because he doesn’t want to be a kittypet, but no clan will take him. So in the end Firestar starts his own clan, Fireclan, that’s sits in the meadow leading up to Highstone right next to the Twolegplace. And Fireclan cats specialise in living as Warriors while hunting in and around a Twolegplace, avoiding monsters and creating agreements with local Kittypets and Rogues, while still defending their borders.

In that moment, in the rundown warehouse, they were directly on him. In their proximity, Sam realized that Barnes looked terrified. His eyes were wide, frantically searching his face. He wasn’t fighting back, even though they both knew he could.
“I don’t want to hurt anyone,” Barnes rasped, voice tight from the pressure on his throat. His hands gripped Sam’s forearm, yet didn’t pry it off of him.
