    The silence was deafening. Vague, yet oppressive. The moment Shadow opened his eyes, he felt his head heavy, spinning nauseatingly. Confused. Frowning, ears perked up in alert, the idol observed his surroundings. He remembered clearly that his last moments had been at a restaurant with his friends — where, suddenly, he felt dizzy — and passed out with no apparent reason.

    His body was still limp, like a boat adrift at sea, disobeying his commands. Shadow sat up on the bed, dizzy, bringing a hand to his head. That’s when he realized his wrists were tied, chained to the bed. “What the hell?!...”
