Vi had always been powerfully built, her body threaded with muscles that wrapped tightly around each limb; now she was broad, burly, her muscles big and strong and soft all at once. Everything in Vi’s life right now is starting over. She’s spending the holidays on her sister’s pull-out futon, trying to make sense of the avalanche of changes, salvage what’s left of her family and figure out what she’s going to do next. The last thing she expects to do is include the beautiful woman she runs into on her first day in town, or this Caitlyn that everyone’s warning her to stay away from.
