Summary
The season he intends to marry, the Viscount Bridgerton approaches Miss Penelope Featherington with a request for her exceptional insight on the society ladies. In turn, he promises himself he shall find her an agreeable husband. His promise is turned on its head when he and Penelope are found in an extremely compromising position by none other than her mother—caught in Portia Featherington’s schemes as a result of a wardrobe malfunction, the two have no other option but to marry in an effort to safeguard their good names.
Penelope is not the wife Anthony wished for. Anthony is not the Bridgerton she wanted to marry. And yet, once they get past the bitter taste of betrayal and injustice, they very well may become good friends. Anything else is, of course, out of the question.

Jungkook whirled around to see a man stepping out, too beautiful to be anything but a dream. His hair was the same soft pink of the flower he had plucked for Yerim and his eyes were sharp as the edge of the sword Jungkook carried at his belt. The morning light fell on his face mimicking the shimmer of dew on the rose petals and his plump lips stretched around the words he spewed in a way that ought to have been ugly but was nothing short of spectacular. Yerim’s jaw set tight, posture rigid, but Jungkook couldn’t draw his eyes away.
There he was: the legend of old.
He spared Jungkook not a glance.

“You ate some of it?” I ask, rudely. I’m too irate to mind my language. Who do they think they are? That meat is for Grace. In a way, that meat is Grace.
“Yes,” ♫♬♯♩♩♫ says. They and the rest of the human life support thrum know better than to be offended by my occasionally strange behaviour. “Obviously we weren’t going to risk the life of Honoured Grace on a completely untested technology.”
That doesn’t mean much. There’s a lot of things that are safe for ingestion by Eridians that would outright kill a human.
Trust Grace, I remind myself. He’ll have thought of all this.

Objectively, this used to be true. Nowadays Shane has many, many plans, between his nightly plans to look at Ilya’s penis through Skype and his various long-term plans laid out helpfully in his notebook, Canva (For Ilya’s sake. He is a visual learner), and more recently, Excel. Shane loves that excel sheet. He’s colour coded it.
In 2017, Shane Hollander spirals and proposes to his boyfriend of 4 days (or 7 years, or 9 years, or not his boyfriend at all, depending on how you look at it), which leads to a lot of plans, weird theories in the Montreal Voyageur locker room, some Twitter drama, and Ilya Rozanov entering his WAG era.
