Summary
“Diomedes continued his previous thought as if Odysseus had said nothing: “In fact,” he took a second glance for security, “during a night patrol, I heard this for myself, and I can vouch there is no woman in that tent.”
“Diomedes, one day your indulgence in gossip will get you murdered. Perhaps soon.” Odysseus pat him on the shoulder before turning to meet with Menelaus at a long table under the dying rays of the sun.
“Wait!” He shouted after Odysseus, picking up speed to join him with Menelaus. “It is hardly gossip! Did you not hear me? I heard this for myself!”
“Heard what?” Patroclus asked from his seat—surprisingly—next to Menelaus, and—perhaps even more surprisingly—without the presence of Achilles.”
or
Diomedes spreads a rumor and finds out its true and everyone thinks its funny except for Menelaus who is blissfully oblivious.

Summary
"Patroclus. My most beloved. My Patroclus," Achilles whispered.
Patroclus stirred and, with great effort, forced his eyes to open. He instinctively registered the darkness of the living room, the drawn curtains, and the pristine walls illuminated only by the fluorescent aquamarine projections of the TV screen. A quick glance at his phone screen confirmed his suspicions: it was 4:37am and he had been unconscious for just under three hours. The ambient music of the deep sea documentary playing in the background was like a siren song, pulling him back into the abyss of sweet slumber.
"Patroclus, my love," Achilles tried again, his voice soft around the edges. "Have you ever felt jealous of male anglerfish?"

Summary
Patroclus starts dating Antilochus in his second year at university. Achilles thinks he’s handling it relatively well, all things considered.
He calls out Patroclus‘s name while sleeping with others and enjoys the power that comes with being able to do as he pleases. He didn’t intend for his yearning to earn Patroclus a reputation across campus as divinely gifted in bed.
==
Or: Despite trying his best to respect Patroclus’s wishes, Achilles accidentally wrecks his beloved friend’s attempt at dating, but it all turns out fine in the end.

Summary
Odysseus heard their rumors; their gossip. It was impossible not to. Even so, he’d never before believed their words. Until perhaps this one.
As of recently, the rumor of the hour pertained to the hero of the hour—Achilles.
He had garnered his fair share of attention before now. Have you heard? They would say. He is invulnerable. Listeners would laugh, but believe it nonetheless. And why shouldn’t they? He had never been injured in the year he had resided with the rest of the unlucky. The rumors surrounding him now do not relate to his skill—hardly to him at all—but instead to his unusual closeness with his companion.
or;
5 times Odysseus’ suspicions towards the nature of Achilles and Patroclus’ relationship grew, and the 1 time they were confirmed.

Summary
There was a clamoring outside, indicating the arrival of the soldiers. Machaon and Odysseus shared a quick glance before Machaon said: “You will deal with him, yes? He will get in the way.”
Odysseus sighed. “Must I? Will he not obey you for Patroclus’ sake?”
“Odysseus, you are smarter than this. Please tell me you have not forgotten last time.”
“I do not believe there is a poor soul who was involved that will ever forget that,” he reminisced unhappily.
“And that was only a shallow arrow wound. Imagine if he saw this,” he gestured to the wound with a cock of his head.
or;
Patroclus is injured on the battlefield, thankfully Odysseus is there to get him the help he needs. Cue Achilles freak out.

“Patroclus,” Achilles said between thrusts, “you need to stop clenching.”
“No, never,” screamed Patroclus.
Achilles is about to leave with most of the Myrmidons on a lengthy raid, leaving Patroclus behind to watch the remaining men. Patroclus handles it about as well as you would expect.

I take my last bite of a grape leaf stuffed with crumbling cheese and crushed almonds, considering whether I have underestimated the guile of Achilles’ lapdog. There is power in influence. There is violence in kindness and a trade in such favours that multiply upon the giver.
Odysseus never saw a riddle he didn't want to solve. Patroclus proves a bit more difficult than most.

Summary
Neoptolemus, also known as Pyrrhus, after the death of his father, appeared with soldiers from his mother’s island of Skyros. He was seen as the next Aristos Achaion, a successor to his great father.
At twelve years old, the boy had the body of nearly a grown man, with fiery red hair. He was ruthless, cold, and resembled a wild beast, ready to tear apart anyone in his path.
Pyrrhus set his sights on Patroclus, his father’s lover, whom he despised for being the main reason behind his father’s death. He forced Patroclus to become his slave, both for ordinary servitude and to warm his bed.
Or.
In an ending where Achilles dies before Patroclus, leaving Patroclus’ soul engulfed in loneliness, things take a turn for the worse when Patroclus encounters Neoptolemus.

Oh, dear Andromache.
Every word, smooth and radiant like the sunlight of Phoebus, warming a soul devoured by darkness, is dedicated solely to you.
The world knows you as Hector’s wife, Eetion’s daughter, or Scamandrius’ mother.
The one who cherished your name most was none other than brave Hector. Yet, there was another, consumed by obsession for your name and your very being.
You stood strong against the tragedy woven by the Moirai, yet fragile when singing of your sorrowful fate.
A selfless love, a loss, and a tragedy.
