After becoming Morty’s babysitter/tutor, you don’t have time to adjust to your new life. Instead you’re thrown headfirst into Rick’s shenanigans. Space adventures and alternate universes? Aliens and foreign planets? You’re discovering so many things you never knew existed. Between you and Rick it’s either a childish back and forth with each other or thick tension that you could choke on. At each others throats all the time, you can’t decide whether you like him or hate him. This guy is driving you up the fucking wall. Why does he seem unable to leave you alone? And what secrets is he hiding? Why does he seem to know more than he is letting on? You’d probably be better off far away from him but neither of you can seemingly leave each other alone. Ah, what the hell. A little adventure never hurt anyone.

Dying was not a pleasant experience, but at least in your case, it had been quick.
Getting to be reincarnated in your favourite piece of fiction, however, was a pretty amazing surprise. Doubly so when you were reborn in a peaceful but incredible kingdom, as the only child of a loving family, and in time to interact with the plot and hopefully meet all your favourite characters.
Really, everything was going well in your new life. A bit too well, perhaps.

Sabo's gaze held her in place. She knew those eyes. They were the eyes of a boy she'd grown up with, playing in the mud, running through forests and-
"We'll go over it one more time," Sabo said softly, sweetly. But his voice was anything but. The hands inching toward her were anything but. He was anything but. "Just in case."
"If you ever feel uncomfortable for even a second. If it's too much and you need to stop," Sabo's lips dropped to her ear. "If it's too much and you can't handle it..."
"Just say the word."
Oh. She realized quietly, something clicking together against her wrists and in her mind.
