    Joining Starfleet was only the first step to redeeming himself, he has a long road ahead of him.

    "Are you okay?" Drunk or not Leonard got skeptical for a second there; and maybe he asked to harshly-accusingly. Jim noticeably shrinks away, face turning beat red, "Too much." Jim replies breathlessly.
    Leonard wonders what happened that night, Jim still doesn't talk about it. And he certainly doesn't want to talk about what just happened. It's only natural, and he's also drunker than hell.
    "Let's go back to the dorm." Leonard suggests, Jim still visibly recovering. "There's still a few beers left and maybe we can watch something else." He gets up, brushing the dirt off his clothes and collects the bottle from the ground. He turns to collect Jim off the ground by offering a hand to him, but it's then that he sees the tears starting to roll down his reddened cheeks.

    Unfortunately he just so happens to become best friends with the grumpiest person on this end of the galaxy.
