There’s a crew of magic-wielding pirates anxious to get back on the open sea (not if the Federation have anything to say about it), a team of young superheroes pulled away from an apparently very important mission, and a chaotic group from a steampunk island called Wonder that does not appear on any map. It seems like they’ll all be stuck here for a while…
I guess they’ll just have to roll with it.

The walls are closing in on him.
This isn't true. Most people have that logical part of their brain that will tell them, no, the walls are not closing in on you. However, Kota is not 'most people.' And his brain is broken. Split open and rewired so many times that even though any logical person would be able to look around themself and know that the walls they were enclosed in, were not, and likely would not move- Kota can't.
So, to reiterate, the walls are closing in on him, and he has no way of getting out of them.

Summary
Speaking of Tanaka, as Souda strides over to fetch himself a shovel, the animal breeder is already bent over the bucket of gloves, holding up a pair with his nose wrinkled. For a minute, Souda’s not sure what the guy’s problem is, but these are all pretty rubbery, and like, uncomfortable. Tanaka’s kind of weird with textures. One time Kuzuryuu and Nidai got into an argument-- sort of, an argument, Souda doesn’t think Nidai was arguing, but Kuzuryuu sure was-- and ended up knocking over a pitcher of juice, and it had spilled on Tanaka, and Tanaka had been so upset that he had to go change right away.
Which… that’s fine. Souda doesn’t care. On either end, he doesn’t care about judging Tanaka and he doesn’t care about paying attention. He reaches down for a pair of gloves himself, and briefly meets Tanaka’s two-coloured eyes as he straightens up.
Tanaka averts his gaze first, and Souda looks down at the gloves in his hand, rubbing the back of his neck.

Souda and Tanaka do some volunteer work together while Sonia is absent.

After finally escaping the Funhouse, Chiaki takes a moment to relax by the shore of Jabberwock Island and reflect over the killing game. Soon enough, her solitude is interrupted by none other than Kazuichi Souda.
Chiaki tries to understand Kazuichi and his admiration of Sonia a little better. Souda learns that his feelings may not be what they seem, Chiaki learns more about the complexity of human feelings, and the two of them realize they share more similarities than they first thought.

“Okay,” Leon finally said, very slowly. “Hiro.”
Yasuhiro perked up. “Yeah, babe?”
Leon exhaled through his nose. He still wasn’t pulling his hands away, but his grip had tightened slightly, like he was grounding himself.
“You think,” he started carefully, “that I—me, Leon Kuwata—am a werewolf.”

Damn, Ouma thinks, I’m getting predictable.
“I overheard those fuckers on the way to breakfast this morning,” Iruma continues. To punctuate the statement, she picks up her travel mug and takes a big swig of her coffee. Iruma skipping out on sleep is nothing new to Ouma. She practically runs on a bad combination of coffee, monster energy drinks, and plain sugar. None of his business, though. “They’re gonna matchmake Shit-hara and Homota.”

Kokichi’s new source of entertainment is suddenly taken away when Kaito’s eyes dart down to his pocket and he pulls out his phone. The room is quiet enough that Kokichi can hear it vibrating from where he sits all the way in the back. He can also see the way that Kaito’s expression screws up with concern, just for a moment, before it’s quickly smoothed out into a smile. He gets to his feet, phone tucked into his sleeve, and ruffles Shuichi’s hair on his way out into the hall.
The door falls shut behind him. Kokichi stares at it. Five minutes pass, then ten, then fifteen. Kokichi realises Kaito probably isn’t going to come back, but just to check he tells the teacher that he really really really has to piss, then makes a show of hopping with his legs crossed to the door just to make everyone else uncomfortable before he relaxes once out in the hall.
Yeah. No Luminaries. Kokichi frowns now that there’s nobody here to see it, scanning the hall and rubbing the side of his cheek.

Kaito ducks out in the middle of the school day, and Kokichi definitely absolutely 100% does not worry about it.

Kid? Kaito fights the urge to puff up even as heat surges in his chest. He’s an adult, damnit—he turned eighteen a couple months ago! Still, no matter what everyone is always saying, Kaito’s not an idiot. He knows making any sudden movements right now is a bad idea.
Like hell is he giving them his specialty Kamina wallet, though… he did a lot of chores to afford that thing! Besides, wallet aside, his money is in there—and these guys are jerks! Who mugs a high schooler?
“Don’t you got any pride?” Kaito asks indignantly.

As the door falls shut behind him, Rantaro thinks he hears Kaede call out, but he doesn’t stop to listen to what she’s saying. He just—he needs some air.

With her acceptance of defeat, they all quickly scurried off. When Akamatsu gave her fearless declarations of unity and strength, of friendship and trust, he knew for a long time she would go quickly.
And when her body hung and swayed as blood leaked from various wounds, her color gone, and the fallboard collapsed onto her, he knew what must be done.
Ouma is bound to the killing game. Try as he might to survive, sometimes all he can do is observe.
