Summary
Morgan did not notice at first. Of course, when he did it was entirely impossible to unnotice it. Because for all his flustered smiles and shy, awkward ramblings the kid is like a vengeful cat when he gets going. If said vengeful cat happens to be a petty, evil genius. Which Morgan supposes most cats qualify as.
It starts a week after New York. Morgan enters the FBI building juggling a hot coffee, a paper bag from the café near his house containing croissants (one for him because he forgot to set his alarm last night and didn't have the time for breakfast, one for Garcia because he knows she loves those chocolate ones) and his phone. He glances up to see Spencer across the lobby, getting into the elevator and he grins, calling out.
“Hey, Pretty Boy! Hold the elevator, would you?”
Spencer stands there, taking a sip of his own steaming coffee and holds eye contact with Morgan the entire time the doors close.
--
The team is back from New York after the events of Lo-Fi and Mayhem and it doesn't take long for Morgan to notice that Spencer seems to be mad at him.

Summary
Wally stares at him for a second, and then something in his expression shifts— confusion turning into something like understanding.
“Oh,” he says softly. “Dick, did you—” His mouth twitches. “Did you have a nightmare?”
Dick just stares at him.
Wally huffs out a laugh, fond and disbelieving all at once. “Baby,” he says, reaching for him carefully this time, like Dick might bolt. “Were you seriously dreaming about me marrying her?”
Dick doesn't answer. Because he knows what he experienced— knows how the way his heart broke knowing he will never be with Wally.
So if this isn't a dream, and this definitely isn't reality, then what is it exactly?
Unless…
Dick ends up in an alternate universe where he’s married to Wally.

Summary
He thought the BAU would be different; that the hugs and smiles and unconditional love would maybe, for once, be directed toward him. But it wasn't. And honestly, who could blame them.
Or me being angsty about the team refusing to help Reid with his drug addiction.

Summary
Peter had always understood something Henry never would: that beneath all the shouting, the slammed doors, and the endless declarations of hatred, Henry loved him.
It wasn't the soft, cuddly love Mum talked about in bedtime stories. It was sharp edged and reluctant, like a cat that hissed but still came to sleep on your pillow at night.
And actions always spoke louder than horrid words. Henry said he hated Peter like a mantra. Peter knew it was a lie he told himself to stay safe.
Peter didn't mean to learn how to weaponize that soft spot. He was a good little brother. He only wanted Henry to be happy. Even if the means of doing so were unconventional.

after saving peter from the shelf, everyone is being really nice to henry.
he's not used to it, but oh, how it felt so good.
so good, that he'd do anything to keep feeling it.(what if henry started intentionally hurting himself so that his parents would love him?)

Summary
Tomorrow he'd tell Mum about the broken lamp before Henry could lie, his voice clear and calm while Henry's would crack with desperation.
Tomorrow he'd ace the spelling test Henry would flunk, the red pen circling Henry's mistakes like blood.
Tomorrow he'd smile his perfect smile, teeth white, lips polite, while Henry snarled and clawed at walls that would never, ever let him win.
Peter could already feel the smooth weight of the gold star sticker on his chest, the faint adhesive smell when he peeled it off at night.
Peter closed his eyes. The certainty settled in his chest like a second heartbeat, strong and sure, pulsing with every breath.
Henry could glare all he wanted. Henry could scream until his throat tore, voice ragged and raw.
It didn't matter. Peter was untouchable.
Peter was perfect.
