Summary
The discovery of a new metal that can harness and immense power source sends multiple planets reeling, but none more than the person who discovered it, Kirishima.
Offers pour in by the day, and by year three, he needs to really make a decision before yet another person makes an attempt on his life. He intends on not hoarding it forever, but putting it to the best use possible to help others, which not many of the planets contacting him had in mind. If the people from the other planets want some, who is he to say no to a collaboration? He could use some assistance honestly.
Weapons are out of the question and he's overjoyed when one finally contacts him with a proposal they would both benefit from immensily, and they send over multiple scholars and scientists to help work on renewable long-term energy storage. Kirishima is over the moon but touches down soon enough when the grumpy scholar Bakugo who is assigned to him, wants nothing to do with him.
He forges ahead undaunted and ends up with success on multiple different levels, and when their contract ends, he doesn't want Bakugo to leave...

Summary
Faced with deportation from Japan, high strung Bakugo Katsuki accepts a marriage of convenience with his partner and co-worker, Kirishima Eijirou. A suspicious immigration officer has him playing along on a trip to Kirishima's family home for his birthday, and is suddenly thrust into the middle of many, many eager friends and relatives, all delighted to know Kirishima's fiance. The longer he stays and sees Kirishima in his element, the more Bakugo unpacks his own feelings on the matter, and on Kirishima himself.
A fanfiction based on the 2009 movie The Proposal that turned into its own storyline and lovingly stuffed full of cliches.
