This was supposed to be a character study using the 5 Stages of Grief.
When I rewatched the movie with my roommate, and the “Oh ivo, you're no Maria” scene happened,- this mf (who doesn't like sonic btw) turned to me and went:
“There's no way this isn't implied grooming.”
