Summary
The job was supposed to be simple, if morally wrong. Kill the crew, steal the ship, get paid. Like, get paid a lot. Enough to get him and Sykkuno off the shithole that was Stars Co. Mars Extraction Site, enough to set them up somewhere on Earth, and potentially enough to get some kind of medical attention for his chronic pain. Simple.
When has anything ever been simple in this sad, miserable life, though? Corpse thought, trapping a bitter laugh in.

Summary
It was getting dark now, and the great black tent of the circus just visible outside the city bounds was slowly disappearing against the fading sky. Branzy couldn’t see any of the smaller red and black stripped tents surrounding it from where he was, but the main tent was obvious even from just the part that could been seen, appearing to lean towards the city with a promise of blood.
OR: Branzy decides that the safest place to hide is where no one would ever expect to find a coward.

Summary
Clown and Branzy are very awkwardly crushing on each other, and Ivory wingmans. She also calls them both an imbeciles, but that's besides the point. The point is gayness, not stupidity. Okay, there might be a bit of stupidity. Okay, okay, they are both gay and stupid about eachother. Sue me.

Clown isn't quite sure if he regrets the past.
There were a lot of terrible things he'd done, sure, but it's not like there were many options.
He did miss the past, though, even if he didn't regret it.
OR:
The author isn't quite sure if this qualifies as angst or if it even qualifies as Clownzy, but who even cares anymore, she'll put both in the tags because why the fuck not.
