Summary
“Rosy is lovely! She’s the nicest snake you could ask for. Snakes get a bad reputation but people don’t even give them a chance!”
“Oh, I’m sure your… Rosy… is a very nice snake. I’ve just always had… well, a thing about them. Are you… Will you be breeding food for her?”
Crowley, now sullenly tugging the box into his apartment, looked up. “Yeah.”
“Oh.”
“Oh for crying out loud, what now?”
“It’s just… Do you really think it’s a good idea, breeding rodents in an apartment building? I mean, what if they get out?”
“That’s what this is for.” Crowley looked at him like he was an idiot. “So they don’t get out.”

Aziraphale is outraged when his snake-keeping neighbor allows a rat to escape and it ends up loose in his apartment. When Crowley tries to make it up to him it looks like a relationship could be a real possibility... if only Aziraphale could get over his fear of snakes.Basically just ~15k words of these two idiots trying to get to know each other while navigating the terrors of being known, all under the guise of rodent control.

Summary
“Best be going, then.” Crowley’d pushed his glasses up his nose and slid into his jacket. There hadn’t been a beat of hesitation, not one look of longing…actually, he hadn’t looked at Aziraphale at all. “I’ll just see myself out.”
“Crowley, don’t–” Aziraphale’d grabbed for his arm, but ended up with air. “I’ll only be gone for a smidge. Then I’ll be back, right as rain. You’ll see.”
“Yeah, ‘course you will. Don’t worry ‘bout me. I’ll turn up. Bad pennies always do.”
A year after leaving--the second time he'd left Crowley to do Heaven's bidding--Aziraphale is finally able to return. But what will he do if there's no home to return to?

Summary
In the meantime, they’d have their familiar dance; trips to museums and galleries, promenades through the park, evenings in the shop where the world went golden and giddy at the edges.
Six thousand years, he’d gone without Crowley kissing him. He’d go another six if it meant giving Crowley the world instead.
[Aziraphale and Crowley have rekindled their old friendship, which is all they want from each other now that the world hasn't ended. Absolutely nothing more. Nothing at all.]
