The book cover model has been tasked with doing the big speech Raban has in the middle of the book, and Val wanted to run it by Carol first. The book cover model is a woman and they’ve been putting her in Raban drag to shoot the covers rather than getting another man to do it. Goddamnit. She has to start paying attention during Val’s fucking phone calls.--
While on a book tour she wishes was over, recently divorced romantasy author Carol Sturka meets the also recently divorced Zosia Smith. The inevitable happens.
