Summary
The rumors started long before Jean agreed to join the Trojans. It was idle chatter around the Edgar Allan campus. A few online forum discussions. The odd remark from a reporter. Conspiracy theories thrown around the locker room before a team was set to face off against the Ravens and the object of their curiosity.
Every single Raven daemon had been spotted at some point or another. All except one.
The rumors became a living thing when Riko died.
Reports came from the other athletes in Fox Tower, unanimous and clear: an unconscious Jean Moreau was seen carried out by security, bloody, with lacerations covering his arms and torso. Behind him medics rolled a covered cart large enough for a couch or fridge. Presumably carrying his daemon.
The real leak came two days after. A security guard told someone who told someone who told the media that allegedly, Jean was found in the wrecked dorm of Kevin Day. Specifically found locked in the bathroom. One quote circulated like fire across news sites and gossip columns: “We had to tranquilize his daemon. She was trying to kill him.”
Or, the daemon AU no one asked for except for me.

“We are alone, yes.” It was not a question: an observation, matter-of-fact. If Shane didn’t know better, he’d say Rozanov sounded scared. And he had every right to be; the MAV was gone. The crew was gone. They were entirely, completely, utterly alone.
“Yes,” murmured Shane.
“Hmm,” replied Rozanov, which was not an answer. “Fuck.”

Summary
Jean shrugs. “It is how I first remember you. Standing in the airport with your stupid yo-yo.”
“Oh!” Jeremy lights up, immediately pulling his arm away and turning to his backpack sitting next to him on the bench. Jean almost protests at the sudden loss of touch, but that’s pretty pathetic, so luckily it dies in his throat before he can make any sound. Instead, he watches Jeremy riffle around in his bag with a little too much enthusiasm. “You mean this?”
And sure enough, when he turns back to Jean, he’s holding that infernal yo-yo.
Jean picks Jeremy up from therapy on his bike and takes him to the park. Jean quickly remembers that his boyfriend is a loser.

Summary
