*WIP* This is the beginning of a series of events exploring Illario Dellamorte and Rook de Riva's history before the events of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Summary
Rook saved Minrathous, this choice left Lucanis devastated driving him to seek comfort with Neve. This choice led him to continue distancing himself from Spite, this would only lead to a path of self destruction. It's up to Spite to save not only himself, but the shambles of Lucanis and Rook's relationship.
This is my take on the Rookanis romance if Minrathous was saved instead of Treviso. Angst, jealousy, and forgiveness... with a nice serving of smut!
Takes place after the events of the game. First chapter is the set up, second chapter is the spice, third chapter is the tender loving smutty resolution. Any advice or comments are appreciated! Enjoy!

Since we all agree that the Lucanis romance was lacking in game I decided to fix it a bit. This was inspired by the story boards released recently. It fits perfectly after Lucanis’s confrontation with Illario, since that’s when he says “I have other plans this evening.” Made Rook gender neutral so you could self insert. Hope you all enjoy!
