Summary
S2 episode Conversion, a few days after the administration of the cure. John Sheppard woke up too soon into his recovery; his feral self escaped and was severely wounded before his recapture.
Now? His human self is slowly resurfacing, memories are returning, but as he lies in his infirmary bed, he is finding himself tormented. Confusion, frustration, and guilt mix in the heavy fog of painkillers. His remaining Iratus instincts are making him too aware of his vulnerability. Aches and discomfort linger: his body is broken, he is almost entirely immobilised, and he doesn’t fully recognise himself. The battle for his humanity is not yet over. Thankfully, he has people for him here...(Bug!John whump! Infirmary recovery. Disorientation, sedation + varying lucidity, non-verbal, angst, stress, alienation vs mutant body, team support. Summary
John Sheppard had been given the cure against the retrovirus. He would be human again. Soon. But not yet. When Sheppard awakes with the mind of a trapped animal, escapes, and gets badly injured in the process, a tracker is needed to bring him back. Alive, if possible. Ronon Dex is on the job, but can only hope Sheppard will let him stop him before it is too late.
Adding whump to S2 episode Conversion(A tiny bit of Ronon whump, but it's angled much more toward whumping Bug!John. Feral bug! John whump, combativity despite bad injuries, angry trapped animal, worsening injuries etc.)

In the canon episode, once the Wraith posing as an Ancient in the virtual environment is exposed, it gets swiftly kicked out.
But if the Wraith had had more time in the virtual world? Time to set his attention on a new target? It is, after all, still in there with one man in particular, John Sheppard. And it has a few cruel tricks up its Wraith sleeves… This is the story of additional minutes well spent on the virtual Aurora.(Gratuitous John Sheppard whump! Sharp ouchies and horror. Summary
The last thing John Sheppard remembered was being back on a specific offworld mission with his team. So why does he keep waking up on Atlantis, injured, with no idea how he managed to return? Why could he not recall anything, over and over again? His team and everyone else seem to know so much more than he does, and yet too many mysteries remain, no matter how much they try to help. What is this madness? Can he come out sane from this frantic quest for the truth? And why on Earth is there something locked around his neck and wrists?..
(Whumpy story with John confusion, pain, stress, injuries, amnesia, shock collar, and other goodies. Poor Sheppard tries his best not to freak out!)
