Summary
Mara is one of the brightest scholars the University of Orlais has ever seen, but she wasn’t always one. Five years ago she was but a young woman who suddenly found herself in Thedas. Since then, she has clawed her way to the top and found others like her. Acknowledging that neither she nor they would ever get out of Thedas alive on their own, they decided to band together and create a secret society in Orlais. A secret society of Earthlings who woke up in this strange land, one with a simple list of objectives: find the others, stay alive, stay out of sight, and find a way home.
So when the society receives news that another Earthling is ‘trapped’ inside the newly formed Inquisition, they are quick to send aid. Mara must now infiltrate Skyhold and remain under the guise of a bright scholar until she can rescue whoever the news alluded to. But things get difficult when a wolf catches her scent and she becomes more entangled in a world she swore she'd leave one day.

Summary
Susanna awakens with no memories, in the middle of nowhere, and has to crawl her way out of the ground. The forest is unrecognisable, there's a stone cottage seemingly abanonded, and a goat named Blaidd that swears he hates all people. Recognising the familiar feel of magic, Susanna decides to settle, explore and learn about this new world and the magic it contains, different from her own.
And then Anders comes.
(Alternative: Anders flees the Circle during the Broken Circle quest and escapes into the woods. He gets lost, Templar hot on his heels, and is saved by a witch. Susanna is influenced/inspired by the DnD Druid class.)
(Follows part of Origins, to Awakening, and then DA2. Eventual Male Hawke/OC, slow burn, canon divergence/fix-it fic)

Summary
Cassandra had fought hard to ensure that the soldiers survive the endless onslaught of demons, after the Conclave exploded. She's reeling from the murder of Most Holy Divine Justinia.
Being called back to Haven worries her until Leliana explains they have found a survivor.
Finally a suspect, perhaps they would get to the bottom of whatever had caused the destruction and find a way to right Thedas.
After seeing the accused, neither Cassandra's or Leliana's world was ever going to be the same again.
Or: What happens if instead of a skilled warrior, daring rogue or mysterious mage as the bearer of the mark of Andraste's favour, it's a child who can't yet stand upright?

Summary
Ella was ready. Her daughter was due to be born any time now and she'd prepared everything to make sure it went smoothly.

The thought leaves him with a hiss, not through mouth but through skin, the high-pitched screech of boiling water meeting flesh, followed by his own wail as his arm erupts in pain.
And Olruggio of the Torch burns.
