Every day since they met, Jack had seen Robby trace the mark with his thumb. It was on the inside of his wrist, the D.W. a perfect image of the J.A. on the other arm. He had insisted that it was a sign the mark was real, that there was a balance, a third soul to be found. Sometimes, when Jack saw Robby sinking into the black pit of depression, when he couldn’t pull him out, he found himself believing it was true.
or: Robby and Jack finally meet the man whose mark they bear, but Dennis Whitaker isn't aware that he bears theirs.

Where in Whitaker's story is a little more damaged, he has little to his name, and those around him give him what he needs and the support he needs. Picks up immediately after S1 ends, and goes to S2 (though written before s2 ends & Robby isn't as depressed). Follows Santos, Dana, Abbot and Robby.
Dennis is v bad at taking care of himself, and being previously unhoused means he doesn't have a lot to his name.

George grunted in acknowledgment, already turned back to his books. His eyes had been bloodshot and tired when he’d looked up, and Kipps’ back hurt just to see his posture in that chair. Lockwood and Lucy probably thought they were giving him an evening off to get some rest. Kipps shook his head - they really should’ve known better.
“Don’t take this the wrong way, but you look like shit,” Kipps told him.
“What exactly is the right way to take that?” George asked, eyes still glued to the notebook he was scribbling in.

Summary
It’s easy for George to lose track of how many times he’s been through this. Obviously he tried counting at first, tried to make sense of it… But it’s no surprise how that doesn’t work. It’s not long at all before he succumbs to the wilful ignorance that comes with losing track of the days, the loops, the losses. Years could be passing by and he’d be none the wiser.
For Lucy and Lockwood it’s the same twenty-four hours. Never getting older, just perfectly preserved in the space between one dawn and the next.
Some people have to sleep to experience nightmares.
George just has to wake up.

The coffee shop/bookstore AU you didn't ask for, and probably don't need. Frieren runs an unsuccessful bookstore (mostly because she refuses to sell the books) but stays afloat because of the coffee shop inside the store. With top notch coffee and questionable baked goods, the Gilded Grimoire is her pride and joy. Himmel, returning from a long war, is in search of peace, good coffee and rare books. Its a cute-meet in the making - if Frieren can be persuaded to actually sell a book.
