Summary
The first thing the Traveller had noticed was that her eyes were covered by a delicate sash. The second thing they noticed was that she was wearing the most beautifully intricate sari the Traveller had ever seen outside of a sari shop display mannequin, and she wore it like the artisan had fallen in love with her created the design especially for her. Interestingly, the drape of the sari was quite unconventional, but it thus allowed her more free movement, while still looking undeniably graceful. Her heavy golden ornaments with their encrusted deep red rubies twinkled in the early afternoon sun, and everything, from her dress to her jewellery to the way she carried herself, screamed royalty.

Or maybe it starts with the fog following your steps, pooling in your apartment until you can see nothing but the thick white mist.
Or maybe it starts with the creature in the dark.
Wherever this story starts, it ends with you standing in front of the Magnus Institute. Or- no- it’s only now that there is no going back.

He's some form of omniscient, that's for sure. Maybe like a maid working in a Victorian household, always on top of the gossip. Whether that be creating the gossip himself, or simply being the agent who spreads it, that depended on the time of day.
But he can't know everything, all the time. Because that would be too much.
Which means there are loopholes.
It's quite easy after that.

Summary
Izuku shivers under him, eyes fixed on Hitoshi, all but looking up at Hitoshi like he’s looking up at some impossible mythical being instead of a plain old human. It’s intoxicating, having this sort of attention from Izuku, like Hitoshi is something so beautiful that Izuku can’t take his eyes off of him. Their classmates like to joke that you’re not really a member of class 1-A until you’ve had your quirk analyzed by Midoriya, and Shinsou had never felt that more viscerally until he’d had a taste of Izuku’s attention himself the first time. Until it had been him, under the gaze of Izuku’s quirk, made powerful by Izuku’s words as the boy couldn’t stop gushing about his quirk.

It's not jealousy. Adrian is adamant about that. They are actually insisting that it’s not any emotion at all. Not even dislike. They are simply completely uninterested in anything that concerns “the human”.
Rocky believes them. Adrian has always been the level-headed one out of the two of them. They are too logical to be jealous. They acknowledge that Grace and Rocky have a special bond after everything they went through together and also understand that none of that will ever pose a threat to their relationship.
Neither are they heartless or ungrateful. They know that Grace is the only reason that Rocky is back at all, the only reason their star has stopped dying. Adrian has told Rocky again and again that they are grateful and happy and wish the alien no ill will. They even helped with the construction of the biodome.
And yet they have no desire to get to know Grace.

Argenti worships him. He always does this, fucking him sweetly as his hands roam. But this time he leans close again, his chin resting against Boothill’s shoulder. “What a delight,” he says, “for you to have lost yourself to the point of malfunction.”
Argenti rails Boothill so well that his brain short-circuits, and he gets to cuss.

So, his first thought upon being stabbed is Ow, followed shortly thereafter by Why in the everloving fuck does a random thug on the streets of Gotham have an ecto weapon?
