Summary
Naruto Namikaze could confidently say he was a good guy.
Being the Fourth Hokage’s son, it’s not like he had much choice in the matter anyway. He couldn’t afford to be an asshole or a prankster, but even then, Naruto was just good. He genuinely wanted to see people happy, wanted to see them smile. Naruto would help the elderly carry their groceries, greet every person who walked past him, and play with his little brother and his friends for hours on end when most guys his age would do just about anything to avoid being around children.
Sure, maybe you could still say he was a bit stubborn, overly loud and unpredictable at times. At the end of the day, he was still Kushina’s son.
But regardless, the point he was trying to make still remained. Naruto was a good person, loved by the village. Truly a man with no enemies.
Besides Ino Yamanaka, that is.
Or, Naruto is beefing with Sasuke’s new girlfriend, but that’s just because he wants what’s best for his best friend. Right?

I’ve made mistakes, but when will I get an apology for what was done to me? Sasuke thinks. When will someone say sorry for what happened to me?
Bleakly bittersweet, beautifully written, a price of beating Sasuke into submission - a lifetime of resignation with the semi- hopeful ending. Strangely validating but recommended only if you want to risk feeling burdened afterwards as it felt less like healing, more like enduring and settling into the situation with minimal agency. I just wanted Sasuke to be happy and now my day is ruined😭 10/10 if you're looking for fantastic angst with very little comfort
