Summary
How is Jisung even supposed to act? Minho probably has it all figured out. He knew where he was coming, after all. He knew that Jisung would be here. He was able to prepare himself. Jisung was blindsided.
He decides that he’ll do what he’s been doing all this time. Pretend Minho doesn’t exist to the best of his abilities and only interact with him when it’s strictly and professionally necessary.
He wishes they could be friends. He wishes they could go back to where they left off. But it’s been four long years of heartache, and Jisung just—can’t.
Minho doesn’t seem to feel the same way.
(Minho and Jisung signed the divorce papers more than three years ago when Minho packed his life into his suitcases and left—without Jisung. But when he walks through the doors of the Seoul National University Hospital again four years later, they will both be reminded that a signature doesn’t always mean the end.)

Summary
Things don't always go perfectly the first time around.
That's why Minho found himself back in college, pursuing his second degree and ending a relationship that had lost its spark. He struggled to find his passion, and working at the cat cafe run by an old high school acquaintance helped him discover that path he had somehow missed. He had finally found his direction, and on that path, waiting for him, was the prettiest boy he had ever laid eyes on. Little did he know, Jisung had also struggled to find his way.
Or Minho works at a cat cafe, and Jisung is a pretty boy with a bit of a past.

Summary
To Jisung, these are his final days of freedom. His final days of being just his own, days with a looming expiration date. Before he’s bonded, claimed. Nothing more than a follower to his alpha’s whims.
Of course, it’s marketed as something far different. “True companionship,” his mother had said. “You won’t believe you lived so long without your alpha,” his tutor had simpered.
But Jisung has seen the before and after. He can’t kid himself about what this is.
