Summary
He wakes up on the concrete floor of the basement, soaking up the puddle of blood underneath him. The headache is still there, to spite him. He collects himself, taking in what just happened as he sits up.
Oh.
Oh fuck he needs to clean this up before his dad sees this.
(He doesn't think about the fact that he just met Death, or what that possibly means for him. The scar is in his hairline, so at least he can hide it. He ignored the leg pain, too.)

I love Immortality Fics and was inspired by "Family Tree" by Kanobies to write one! I've added some fun flavors of my own, of course <3 -

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9!!
' She can’t help her mind wandering though, back to a topic that’s been a frequent visitor in her mind for weeks now, relentlessly pounding against her skull.
Caine had come up to them two months prior, practically glitching with excitement, sharing that they may be able to potentially heal abstraction. He wasn’t positive, but he’d been working closely in the digital files of the Circus lately, giving himself something to do in between their regular activities. He found that the files of their lost friends still existed, but were corrupted, damaged, though fixable, if he was looking at it correctly at least. He couldn’t promise anything, but he had hope that they could actually do something.
This had caused excitement to rise within the group, eyes sparkling and discussion rampant. Voices had overlapped each other, and Pomni couldn’t help the heaviness on her chest of their most recent cast member lost lightening a bit at the positivity of the group, eyes drifting to the large circus tent he resided in most days, when he wasn’t in the aquarium with the others. Summary
"It was almost inconsequential in the general gist of things. Robert would not have given it a second thought if not for the weird tension that sprouted after, and the fact that his team made a bigger deal than it had to be. It was not like he was actually hurt, not really, the fingers were not even broken. Probably. It was fractured at most, in his personal opinion. "
Or
The team slowly figuring out Robert's insanely high pain tolerance and progressively getting more worried about it.
