Gus has always worked his tail off trying to be the perfect student, he even stayed up restless nights to practice his illusions to get into Hexside. He moved up two grades and made great friends. They're all growing up and things aren't the same when they were in middle school. People are getting into their urges and people are changing but... for the good or for the worst? Gus may never know but he knows one thing.
People change once they get their ranks and once they change they don't ever seem to go back.

After Dubai, a 'single' Louis buys a townhouse in the Garden District of New Orleans. Every other night, Louis will sit on his balcony and on each and every one of those nights, Armand and Lestat prowl around on the sidewalk below, circling like sharks, awaiting Louis to welcome one of them come and spend the evening with him.
Some nights, Louis will send them away with their tails tucked between their legs. Other nights, Louis allows Armand to join him. Or, he'll beckon Lestat to his chambers. And occasionally, he will request both of them to lavish him with attention.
