Hawks leaned into the touch, surprise melting into the dazed look of lust. "You're sick, Dabi."
"It's just a cold," he waved off, unoccupied hand trailing up Hawks' thigh. He could feel the hero swallow, fingers flexing.
"Definitely just a cold," scoffed the winged man, and Dabi tightened his grip. Hawks moaned faintly, eyes closing.

Hawks saw this assignment for what it was: An opportunity. He’s been going around in circles trying to find a way to escape, and everything leads to the same thing: recalibration training at best, and a slow death at the hands of the commission at worst. They are not expecting him to survive, he just needs to play that to his favor. He has never given the Commission a reason to doubt his loyalties, he can’t afford to unless he knows he’ll come out on the other side. So until then, he'll keep pretending everything is fine, that the food he eats doesn't taste like saw dust, that everything isn't dull around him and that he isn't so achingly lonely that he would do just about anything to feel like he belonged.Series
