"No thanks, I'm really fine!" the woman replied, bowing her head in thanks and hurrying on, watching out of the corner of her eye as the car eerily came to a stop, the lights blinding her slightly but still able to make out the black silhouette inside the car.
She had to admit that she had felt a terrible terror burning through her bones, but the faster she walked the faster she would get home.
By then it was already quiet, the streets were empty and the only thing that accompanied them were the lights on the poles.
But no matter how calm they were, their null beta instincts screamed at her that something was going to happen.
