He was promptly cut off by Martyn slamming him into the back wall, hand tightly grasping his jaw and covering his mouth. Joel's pickaxe clattered to the floor, Martyns breath hot on his ear.
"Be quiet, he's gonna hear us" Martyn hissed under his breath.

“Giyuu?” Urokodaki’s gruff voice comes from beside him as the elderly man crouches on his knees to take a look at him. “What’s wrong?” He asks carefully.
“Hurts,” is all Giyuu can say, because it does. It hurts a lot, even more so as Urokdaki prods at the red mark over his nose.
And then he doubled over in pain as sharp jolts of mysterious agony erupt across his body.
They come once or twice at a time, and Giyuu shuffles out of his kimono to look at his bare torso. There’s tiny red marks appearing everywhere, fresh, like someone dug their nails across his skin and leaving claw marks in their wake.
In which soulmates are defined by marks that never stay, but the feeling runs deep.

“I mean-” Was he really about to say this? He was comfortable with Jimmy and Tango, but maybe this was crossing a line. Was this going to make them uncomfortable? “I'm not asexual. I want to have sex.” He waited a second, getting two reassuring nods in response. “But for some stupid reason, god I don’t even know why, I want it to be special. I don't want to just have a one night stand. I don't want to just hook up with a stranger. I want to have sex with someone important. You know. Like a boyfriend. Who I'll never have because I don't want one.”
“Well that's not true,” Jimmy pointed out. “I was your boyfriend, for all of a month.”
“Three weeks,” Scott corrected.
“Close enough.” Jimmy shrugged, pushing himself off Tango so that he was instead curled into Scott's side.
“You hear what you're saying, right?” Scott checked. “In case you've missed it, you're currently implying that you would have sex with me.”
“No, I am well aware of that,” Jimmy grinned, sharing a long look with Tango that Scott couldn't quite decipher.

To say Tango knew what he was doing would be a massive overstatement.
Throughout this life game, Tango has been ignored by his soulmate, made many mistakes, and only keeps feeling worse the more time that passes in a way that has nothing to do with the ever-ticking clock in the background. He just wants to feel wanted, loved for a night, and since Jimmy is⎯ Well, no one really knows what is going on with him⎯ Tango decides to turn to two men he’s confident he can trust.
The Mean Gills certainly weren’t expecting this late night visitor.
