Summary
There’s a blinking red light on the webcam and some half-assed attempt at a countdown with Juni’s fingers and that’s all the warning she gives them before she goes live.
“Hello everyone, sorry for the delay!” she says, smiling up at the camera. A monitor that’s been tilted on its side whizzes past with chat messages and Min stares into it blankly, like it’s a portal to another dimension. “Some stuff has come up with work–I got a promotion actually. That means I won’t have nearly as much time to stream but don’t worry because I’ve brought in some help! Say hello, Cell 4.”
Iseul’s too busy calculating the cost of the PC parts to notice and Sayeon’s still trying to figure out how this falls under mission parameters.
“Hello,” Min repeats, monotone, staring dead into the camera.
Or: Cell 4 takes on the challenge of streaming.

Sayeon wasn’t really expecting Juni to tell her cell they were supposed to go home for the Christmas holidays.
“-And why can’t we just choose to stay here?”
“The HQs aren’t a free vacation resort, Sayeon.” Juni rolled her eyes, still not looking up from the videogame she was playing on the PC of the Security Office.
“It says on file that you still got a residence under your name, and some distant relative money to live off. Until you’re a proper, red-tie officer you’re not granted a permanent stay at the building, in this case.”OR: Sayeon ends up having to spend the Christmas holidays back home with Samin. Lots of pent-up feelings get dug up.

The woman takes a seat on the bed–Ryujin’s bed, fuck, she made it this morning too–and crosses one leg over the other. Something about the picture rings familiar. Something about the whole of her feels vaguely reminiscent, like a dull itch on her brain that she can’t quite scratch.
The crappy haircut. The blue eyes bordering on black. The gaze that feels more calculating than human. And the clincher–the absolutely manic look in her eyes. Oh no, Ryujin sees it now.
“Glasses,” she says finally. “You’re Glasses’ sister.”

Lohen laughed at the sight, with Illuga practically not believing their antics.
"They aren't even drunk yet?" Illuga asked no one in particular, his disbelief bleeding through his words. His squad's shenanigans he wasn't a stranger to, but this immediate? And, by scanning through the things they've brought with them on this excursion, laying haphazardly everywhere, not even the bottle of Firewater that Anleifr had proudly shown to them after sneaking it into their boat?
Or, huh. Maybe they'd finished it all before this. Illuga wants to sulk at that thought.
The Nightmare Orioles Investigation Squad has finally met Klee. They see an almost uncanny resemblance between both their Captain and his Vice Captain in her. They wisely chose to shut the fuck up and just drag Klee into their mess of an outing, but Vlaicu just had to say his thoughts.
