He’s never hard by the end of their fights the way Jabber is. He doesn’t get off on pain and exertion and humiliation the way the Raider does. He’s not the one who stays revved and ready to go (Jabber’s words), approaching every battle as his next fix.
No, what gets Zanka off is the momentary shudder of submission that runs down Jabber’s spine when he’s pinned beneath the Cleaner. The way that crazed look in his eyes gets a little more focused, like he’s finally aware that consequences are around the corner.
OR
Zanka fucks Jabber in the rubble of yet another battle of theirs. No matter how hard he tries to make Jabber hate it, he always hates it even more.

Zanka is still there, untouched, eyes closed and mouth open.
Jabber almost feels like he might cry. He doesn't hesitate to jump on the bed and bury his face in Zanka's neck. It's disgusting, yet it feels so good.
The cold, damp skin clings to his own—the smell is nauseating, but Jabber can't help but sigh shakily. His arms encircle Zanka's torso and squeeze tightly.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I won't leave again. I'm sorry."
Zanka doesn't respond. If Jabber stays still enough, he can feel Zanka hugging him back.
Jabber's life collapses in a second. He rebuilds it in a week and ends it in a day.

Zanka doesn’t say anything. He stares at him, looking for any sign of sarcasm or lies. But he only finds the darkness of truth seeping from Jabber’s eyes.

Of course he’s going to die.Zanka doesn't have much long left, and he can't die. Not like this. He refuses hurt the people around him any more, even if it means working with Jabber. Even if it means trusting his life into the Raider's hands.
He will live.

Seemed he got himself captured by her and was probably not having the time of his life. Even though they all should have just ignored that info and move forward, MK had a voice inside him that screamed he should save the monkey.

Macaque hit the ground running.
He tore through the woods at a pace many could not phathom of achieving. His boots were long discarded, favoring his bare feet for more balance.
His lungs burned and he had to push down bile as it crawled up from his throat, his right ankle burned with a stabbing pain. Maybe jumping off a 20 foot cliff was a bad idea, now that he thinks about it. Also ripping said ankle from ice was probably not doing him any favors. He can hear the cackling laughter of her and her thrall she sent after him. Her lapdog cooing sweetly at this not so new game of cat and mouse. The weight in the sling he made from his beloved scarf was a firm reminder of what he had to lose. What he couldn’t lose.
He had to keep moving.
Or:
Macaque runs away from LBD and ends up with MK and his group, attempting to keep his secrets, well, secrets, proves to be difficult. As well as slowly starting to trust these wannabe heroes.
