Summary
Kaveh feels warmth across his face without really meaning to. “That is irrelevant. It’s a simple yes or no question. You’d remember if you left a piece of paper in the cup cabinet of all places, right? So, did you, or did you not?”
For some reason, Alhaitham does not reply, instead staring him down with an emotion that Kaveh does not have a name to in his eyes. The feeling falls heavy on Kaveh’s chest, and he feels the slightest twinge.
The architect walks out of the living room and into his own, shutting the door behind him. Sliding down his door, he looks down at the paper in his hands, rereading the words that were crafted seemingly gently together. He reads and reads and reads until he no longer needs to do so to recite the poem. He feels the words in his heart, and along with it, an ache of hurt.
Or, Alhaitham leaves poetry around the house as a way of confessing to Kaveh. Kaveh has no idea (somewhat).

Summary
Kaveh does not like strangers seeing him vulnerable, but he relaxes in the company of those that he trusts. But Alhaitham does not know which category he falls under. At Bimarstan, the question was irrelevant because Kaveh wouldn't be alone either way. Here, it's different. Kaveh will be alone unless Alhaitham goes to sit with him.
It would be nice to sit with him. Reassuring. And it would be easier to make sure that he has everything he needs.
But what he needs most is rest. And he won't rest well if he is uncomfortable.
Kaveh falls ill. Alhaitham works through some things.

Summary
Arguing is Alhaitham’s and Kaveh’s favourite pastime. However, their light-hearted bickering takes a serious twist after a long day and one too many drinks. They cross lines Kaveh always thought to be walls and he ends up storming out of the tavern, furious and homeless.
As if this wasn’t enough, where Kaveh’s team planned to build, a Leyline has formed. Kaveh knew from the start the Leyline would be trouble, but he didn’t expect it to be the kind of trouble to send him back in time.
Here in the past, Kaveh is a student at the Akademiya again. A time where he isn’t in debt nor suffocated by workload. A time where Alhaitham still looks at him like he would trade in the world for his safety. Kaveh swears to himself to seize this second chance, but Alhaitham catches on quickly that there is something odd about his Senior…

Summary
After an accident at work, Kaveh sort of dies. But he is granted a chance to come back to life if he can get three people to shed tears of pure love for him. He thinks that would be easy, since he has so many friends, but soon realises that it's not as easy as he thought it would be.
Meanwhile, a grieving Alhaitham is very confused by this new stranger in Sumeru City who acts so much like Kaveh, but is not Kaveh.
“Well, I promise you, Kaveh will be very okay with it. I’m sure of it.”
“If I’m not convinced, will you be suddenly bringing me a letter allegedly written by Kaveh that expresses his agreement?” Alhaitham asked with a raised eyebrow.
“That letter was written by Kaveh. One hundred percent. I don’t know why you keep doubting me,” Kaveh insisted.
Alhaitham hummed to himself. “Just wanted to see how you’d react.”Series

"You will catch a fever if you keep this up." Alhaitham rushes towards him, holding an umbrella."What are we?" Kaveh asked himself when Alhaitham held his hand when he was going through his hardest.
"What are we?" Kaveh asked himself as he saw Alhaitham silently cry when he was involved in a life-threatening accident.
"What are we?" Kaveh questioned himself almost everyday.
Every time this question pops into his mind, he gaslights himself every single time.
A friend.
A schoolmate.
A roommate.
A very close friend?He looks carefully at the scholar who was still offering his umbrella.
He wonders to himself, when will he get a definite answer?

Summary
Alhaitham was never the perfect picture of health. Not to mention, he was dislikable and quite frankly, emotionally constipated.
His roommate, Kaveh, was one that could attest to such statements the most. However, he’d never anticipated for Alhaitham to be afflicted with a foreign ailment known as the Hanahaki Disease.
A tragically romantic illness, birthed through unrequited love.
Only through lost love can it be cured, but it seems that this secret affection isn’t one Alhaitham is willing to part with.

Loosening his grip of the bottle, Alhaitham rested his forearms on his legs and let his head hang low, “I prefer to lead life with a clear mind, and if that means avoiding to hastily act on my physical condition, in instead maintaining my days regular schedule and harbouring satisfaction with such, then it is what it is.”
“Is what it is…” Nahida pondered, “But surely, you also notice this leads you to a rejection of both your true emotions and desires?”
“Yes,” Alhaitham nodded, arriving at the same conclusion as her, “I see that now.”

When Alhaitham falls sick only a week before the Inter-Darshan Championship and the Wisdom Gala, he is effectively rendered unable to oversee its preparations. But as he goes against all logic (very much unlike himself) and attempts to commit to his duties, it takes the wisdom of a god and many of his friends to teach him the importance of accepting care and prioritising wellbeing.

"You look terrible," is Alhaitham's brand of good morning. "Absolutely awful," he adds, as if for good measure.
If Kaveh wasn't currently silenced by the worst headache Teyvat has seen in centuries, he'd make a list of all the things that look even worse than he does and bore Alhaitham to death as revenge for his lack of tact.
Alternatively: Kaveh gets sick. Alhaitham has a secret to dealing with this kind of problem.

Summary
Arrogant, self-centered, and selfish, that's what his partner is. Kaveh is relieved that they are almost done with the project that they were assigned to work on together. Of all students from the Darshan of Haravatat, why did he end up getting paired with someone who's basically the epitome of everything that irks him?!
Kaveh is sure that he doesn't want to work with Alhaitham ever again. So when he suddenly finds himself waking up ten years into the future married to the said man, he is in complete denial.
