Peter Strahm was never one to truly hate a coworker. Sure, he’s had an annoying person he’s had to work with here and there, but never someone he couldn’t handle. He was married to his work. He wasn’t going to let someone piss him off so much that he would be caught lacking on the job. So, when he was told that some detectives would be helping the FBI find a deranged killer the news outlets had named Jigsaw, he wasn’t too bothered.
But that completely changed when he was standing face-to-face with the man, he just knew would ruin his life, Mark Hoffman.

A few things that you will just have to use your imagination on 1) I don't know what year it is 2) The Jigsaw murders are mentioned but aren't really relevant to the story 3) I don't know the timeline of this story in particular but I'm imagining a few months
