Instead of a night of putting Fizz and Ozzie's latest and greatest toys to good fucking use, Stolas had dropped a bomb shell on him in the shape of a shiny crystal that meant they no longer had reason to see eachother.

Summary
When Jaskier woke he was somehow both freezing and too warm all at once.
He was in a bed, Geralt's bed, he eventually realised, and said Witcher had his bare chest pressed up against Jaskier's back, breaths even and slow in sleep.
He put that down as the reason for the too hot, and his exposed feet where the blanket had fallen away, as the too cold.
He readjusted himself as much as he could and cleared his dry throat a few times. Before too long he fell asleep once more.

The imp lunged forward, fingers reaching for curled talons but finding only the cool night air as his leap became a stumble onto the flagstones of the outer courtyard."
The two denizens of hell seem cursed to fatally misunderstand each other at every turn.
Blitzø hates always feeling so shitty, hates the guilt that rots out his stomach every time a relationship falls apart in his clumsy hands. Surely there's gotta be something he can do differently, something that would mean he wouldn't have to wake up every day feeling like the worst piece of shit alive.
After such a savage rejection Stolas can't find anything in himself worth loving. What is it that he's lacking, why does everyone he's paired with end up despising him in the end?
Or: How the fuck did we end up in this cell together?
Set just after the events of Full Moon, but before Apology Tour (because I can only deal with so much angst!). I wanted to explore some alternative resolutions as well as some fresh hurdles for the poor fucks.

After the shitshow that was the full moon, Blitzø had been feeling like absolute crap. And it wasn't because Stolas had thrown him away just when he'd started to accept that maybe, despite his best efforts, he had feelings. Absolutely not.

Summary
Blitzø came down with something. He didn’t know what but it didn’t really matter. All he needed was to push through it until the symptoms let up, and then he could get back on with his life. He was good at that.
That fact that all of the symptoms lined up with a pregnancy; the nausea, the aching, the way his belly had rounded out, that was all just a coincidence. Because pregnancies didn’t happen that fast… right?
Or: Blitzø doesn’t realise he’s eggnant until it’s too late.
