George wishes this type of thing could happen more often. He wishes he could view it with Lando each time it did. He wishes he could interrupt his current conversation with Oscar and ask if he's seeing it right now, and, if he isn't, tell him to stop what he's doing and look so they can be connected, or George can at least pretend they are.
He wishes the eclipse could miraculously collapse into a black hole and pull him into its vortex, effectively put an end to this wanting that's doing all harm and no good.
Lando is unavailable. Even if George were desirable, he wouldn't want him anyway.

"You don't get to act all jealous." George's voice climbed, then dropped, like he was trying to wrestle it back under control. "We're not together."
Max stepped closer, close enough to see the way George's throat moved when he swallowed. "Oh yeah?" His voice had gone low now, almost conversational. "And remind me why we're not together again?"
