Summary
On his way home from a New Year's Eve party, university professor Xie Lian is attacked by an unknown perpetrator and left to die in an alleyway.
Miraculously, however, he wakes up a few days later in hospital.
There's just one problem: Xie Lian can't see.
After finding out that his eyesight is permanently lost, he's set up with an organisation who'll help assist him full-time. His caretaker is a young man named Hua Cheng. Xie Lian is unsure at first, but he begins to warm up to him.
But he can't come to terms with the fact that he's no longer fully independent nearly as easily. Thankfully, Hua Cheng is there to help him every single step of the way.
Xie Lian eventually realises he has feelings for Hua Cheng, but swears not to act on them, as that would be extremely inappropriate.
What Xie Lian doesn't realise, however, is that Hua Cheng feels the same way. And he has for quite some time...

Haru is fairly convinced from the limited interactions he has had with one Kambe Daisuke that though he has somehow amassed a ridiculous unknowable wealth, he is severely lacking in the fundamental decencies it takes to be a basic human being. Daisuke, mildly amused by this boy who is so convinced of his ability to read him, decides to take a special interest in Haru. But Haru has plenty in his past that he has yet to deal with, and somehow Daisuke keeps showing up to help him through it.
**“Relax, will you? You look like a live animal about to be sent to slaughter.”
Haru’s eyes narrowed. “And it would kill you, I suppose, to be seen in a restaurant any less fancy than this one?”
“Hardly,” Kambe said, all pursed lips and cocked eyebrows. “You know, your continued misappraisal of me is as boring as it is inaccurate. You should consider a new character trait, I’m not sure this one will carry you through the series.”

Summary
When home no longer feels like home, Chilchuck makes the tough decision to move north to escape memories he'd rather leave behind. Though once largely made up of tall-men, there are towns and cities on the northern continent that have opened their doors to races of all kinds, and that seems like the easiest sort of place to try and make a new life. There's even a branch of a tailoring company Chilchuck admires that might be willing to hire him.
Except life outside of a strictly half-foot community is hardly as idyllic as it seems. Everything is too large, and too loud, and getting a good job requires things he couldn't get back home. Then an opportunity falls into Chilchuck's lap—an enthusiastic amateur wildlife photographer offers to pay him for his assistance in capturing pictures of the monsters roaming the countryside. It sounds like a lousy job, but unfortunately, the idea is less bruising to his ego than the other options he has.
There's no telling if this new life will be sustainable. One thing's for certain, though: Chilchuck is lonely, and his eccentric new employer is all too eager to be his friend.

(New title, once “Bandaged Hands”, reworking a few things in the upcoming plot so I adjusted the title.)Demonic forces that the Proxies are in no way prepared to face threaten their very existence, and they realize hiding from higher powers won’t be nearly as easy as it had previously been. Amidst this, Toby has dealt with mistreatment his entire life. Tim has found himself dealing out a portion of that mistreatment. Toby's understanding of people proves limited when the man he's grown accustomed to at a distance begins to soften up towards his displays of immaturity… and neither of them know just what it entails for them. As tensions rise, they both learn just how hard it is to see each other through the fog.
______TRIGGER WARNINGS: Mentions of suicide, self harm, drugs, pills, smoking, murder and gore, a few genuinely batshit crazy serial killers, eating disorders, and a few other things.
Some things to note:
-Toby is 23 years old. Tim is 30 years old. Age difference being 7 years.
