Just as Max had scoffed loud enough to make himself known to one of the goblins, its ear flicking minutely, Mr Wizard had decided that that was enough.
In a quick reaction of just wanting the man to shut up, Mr Wizard grabbed ahold of Max's ribboned arms and dragged him into a firm kiss.
Or: Mr Wizard sorely underestimated how much a kiss would mean to someone like Max.

Summary
The thing about the villagers in this server were the weapons they wielded. Their chainsaws were almost always splattered in blood from their countless attempts at catching one, and on their 16th try, they were sure they had perfected the process. With that confidence, Grian offered to run in and be the bait, just as he had many times in the process now; the deep nicks from the saws before were proof of that.
He shouldn't have been so careless.
Or: In the Impossible Minecraft world, villagers are a threat, but unfortunately, they’re needed. From that, plans do not always go the way you want them to.

Summary
The desert, while being a perfect opportunity for dominion over the sand's profits and overall control, was a difficult place to live in. It meant melting sweat, freezing nights and countless grains of sand that Scar would be finding in every nook and cranny for months. But with his trusted and loyal business partner by his side, he'd never thought he'd find trouble.
Until he got heatstroke.
Suddenly the world was light, and his slow, dazed mind could only think to focus on his partner, half naked in the sun and sweat-glistened skin burning into his eyes. Sure, he could've blamed the heat's effects for his wandering mind, but doing that would've been a disservice to the man with muscled thighs, strong arms and a cracking set of tits.
Or: Scar gets heatstroke and finally discovers the marvels of his business partner's naked body.

There's no reply. Healy can usually think of at least one thing to throw out, even if it doesn't fit. The silence goes on for a beat too long, and Holland didn't hear him move to the kitchen. He turns around —
— and it's Healy, standing there, it's definitely Healy, but it's a Healy who looks like he's in his fucking twenties.
His face is completely unlined — his hair is dark, not a speck of gray — and he's staring right back at Holland.
"Um." Holland's at a complete loss. "Hi."

Link knew by the tone, that was really an order. Dad always said to be polite to adults. But this didn't seem like a “please” or “thank you” situation. Link wasn't too good at remembering all those other manners. Well, being polite was like being nice, right? So Link did the nicest thing he could think of.
“Wanna see my frog?”
Or a look at what might have been if pre-calamity Link had grown up with more freedom and got to hold on to more of his gremlin energy.
