Summary
Five years after the war, Shiro, divorced and retired, receives a phone call from the Garrison calling him back for an urgent assignment. Lotor, disgraced and damaged beyond repair, has been found alive in the Sincline mech, after his name has been cleared of the misunderstanding that has been dubbed the Altea Affair. Secretly nursed back to health within the walls of the Garrison, he's let out, but only under the condition that he's under Shiro's direct supervision.
Shiro accepts the assignment to become Lotor's new roommate, but things get complicated when Lotor reveals he's been receiving weird dreams from Allura - the same Allura that has been supposedly dead for the past five years.

Summary
After the final Breaking of the World when existence is remade by its creator Eru Ilúvatar, second chances are possible. A little Artanis goes into the city with her brother, Finrod, and meets someone who isn't an Elf at the forge. Intrigued by Mairon, who is a Maia instead of an Elf like her, she keeps coming by to visit him throughout the years, and he visits her family, too. They develop a fast friendship, but the older Artanis becomes, the harder it is to remain just friends.
Written for a prompt asking for Sauron/Galadriel fic post-canon, post-LOTR, anything goes. This is where my mind went.

Being a scavenger wasn’t particularly glamorous on the best of days, but today was particularly fruitless. Lotor had been nearly ready to call it quits when he pulled away a piece of plastic sheeting, revealing a head.
Lotor gasped and jerked back in shock. Had he found a dead body? But- no. The head was missing its right eye, and when he leaned nervously closer he could see delicate wiring through the empty socket. An android, then. An exceedingly good one, from what he could tell in the failing light. The android was missing its left arm but it was otherwise intact. There was a tattoo on the inside of the android’s remaining wrist, a serial number and a model name: 5EN-DAK.

Lotor’s eyes widened. “Uh.”
Someone else left the shop and bumped into Lotor’s back and the ice cream fell out of his cone, hitting the sidewalk with a splat. They both looked down at it, Shiro with disbelief and Lotor with profound sadness.
“Lotor,” Shiro said, more firmly.
“Sorry, I think you have me confused with someone else,” Lotor said and turned, walking away briskly.

Summary
When the Galra invaded Shiro did his duty, fighting on the front lines. One battlefield promotion led to another until he was promoted to general, standing as the head of the Altean army. He defeated Zarkon and his men, but then Prince Lotor entered the field and Shiro found himself outmatched, outmaneuvered, and out of options. He was taken captive and stripped of everything that made him strong, forced into a sham marriage to keep a sham peace. Through it all, he slowly realized Prince Lotor wasn’t his enemy. Through it all, he realized he didn’t really understand much of what was happening at all.
