It’s been 12 years since he left his home country and best friend, who he abruptly lost contact with when he moved to the U.S. He didn’t really know what to expect when he got back to Japan, but it definitely wasn’t becoming obsessed with「Hero too」, an up-and-coming band that dreams of helping as many people as they can. Before he knew it, his entire world was shifting on its axis because of their gravity.

Izuku’s down in the dumps until becoming a Dynamight oshi. Which in itself is great, but he doesn’t realize Dynamight is the same childhood friend he’s been yearning for since he was 10. Yeah, that’s totally not gonna blow up in his face later on.
