Sukuna tuned back in at the sound of his name reverberating from the brat. He didn’t especially like to deal with sorcerers, not without a fight. And he certainly didn’t think doing so at the moment was a good idea for his sanity or that fragile box of rage he was keeping carefully tucked away.

“Yeah, that curse you ate?”

Pride swells in his heart. And he presses a kiss to the matted hair. The baby purrs (purrs!) like a tiny engine.
His baby's smart. A prodigy.
Definitely not Yuuji’s genes.
Must be the father’s.
Speaking of fathers, now that Yuuji thinks about it, he can’t really remember—
“Mama,” the baby protests.
Oh.
Right.
Yuuji realizes he stopped petting his baby’s hair.
