“It’s my soul mark.” Childe rolled his eyes, his tone brittle as he barely concealed the ache in his heart and the sick swoop of fear in his stomach. “Of course I memorized it.”
“Good. Because it may not come back, even once the Delusion is removed.”
“I know.” Childe drew in a deep breath. “I’m ready. For Her Majesty.”
He took one last look at the mark, black against his pale skin, and steeled himself for what was to come. Knowing Dottore, it was going to hurt.

Half of Bastard München’s ace duo and the former heart of Blue Lock, Isagi Yoichi, would say his tentative friendship with Kaiser is contentious at best, strife with taunting remarks and razor-sharp words, and sometimes cut by strange moments of warm companionship. Isagi’s so exhausted from hours of metavision and running up and down the field and he just wants to go home to his nice, soft bed in his quiet apartment and not have to deal with any more boisterous Germans, and the excuse leaves his mouth before he can really register it-
“I can’t drink, I’m pregnant,” he says, shaking Gesner’s arm off of him. He rubs at his eyes, letting out an exhausted sigh and zipping up his bag. Kaiser spits out his drink and Ness falls over onto his side like a possum playing dead and doesn’t so much as twitch. Gesner watches Isagi sling his bag over his arm, his mouth gaping.
“See you guys tomorrow,” he murmurs, wondering why everyone is looking at him funny, and he leaves through the locker room doors with an exhausted slump to his steps.

To the two of them, they’re the only ones in the entire stadium, that’s how it always is. They’re the only two players on the field, the only two members, they are the only one the other sees, and now is no different.

Summary
He knew Shidou didn’t belong to him, not in any meaning of the phrase. He and Shidou were simply rivals who ate off of each other's egos to get to the top— a push and pull relationship full of both arrogance and violence.
Rin's always struggled with admitting things; from admitting he wanted to beat Sae out of longing and not anger, to admitting his raging crush on Shidou for over a decade. Rin's never been keen on being weak and vulnerable— fuck that to the very core.
Yet he can't deny the churning pits of jealousy that stir in his gut whenever he sees Shidou with anyone but him, but that's an admittance he'll keep to himself.

“It’s me,” says Shidou, “I’m here for my shit,” and then, because Rin doesn’t answer, “you told me to come?”
Rin still doesn’t deign to respond, but he buzzes him up. Shidou is seething. This, he promises himself, is the last goddamn straw. He’s a human being, for god’s sake, not Itoshi Rin’s chew toy. He is not letting him and his crazy demon magic anywhere near his penis. Today, he chooses dignity.
Shidou didn't exactly plan to start sleeping with Rin. He also didn't plan to catch feelings, but hey, here he is anyway. It sort of starts with a toothbrush.
