Summary
Kel wants to kiss Sunny. Like, he REALLY wants to kiss him. But of course, he doesn't want to risk ruining their friendship, uncertain if his friend feels the same way. So when Aubrey and Basil tell him about an apparent loophole that would allow him to kiss Sunny while still preserving their friendship, Kel immediately latches onto it.
Sunny had been having a good day, all things considered. Kel suddenly running up to him with an eager glint in his eyes wasn't anything new to him, but everything that followed DEFINITELY was. And now Sunny is left reeling from the fallout, wondering if maybe his feelings aren't as unrequited as he had previously thought.
Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are watching this train-wreck play out like a Shakespearean comedy with buckets of popcorn.
(Or, Kel kisses Sunny on the lips after screaming "no homo" in his face, Sunny has several mental breakdowns, Aubrey is tired of her friends' shit, Hero is the lone voice of reason, and Basil really wants a peach tree.)

Summary
Sunny's known Kel since he moved to Faraway Town a long time ago; Sunny the timid loner who was always hiding behind Mari's back; Kel the loud, (sort of) annoying ball of energy always trying to get him to do something irresponsible. Now, the both of them have grown up, two teens navigating the wobbly maneuvers of high school and all the feelings that get mixed in between.
As Sunny begins to grow closer to his childhood best friend, he begins to see Kel in a very different light: tall, bright, and handsome. Wrestling with a mess of feelings for a boy he used to sneak out to Hobbeez with, it'll take seven memories and a whole lot of maybes for Sunny to see this hopeless romantic's love story through to completion.
The only thing is: does Kel even feel the same way?

“Kuina, I hate video games,” Chishiya whined. “And I hate gamers even more. They have no rational thoughts, always ready to smash their controllers when a game doesn’t go their way. They’re just a bunch of whiny kids. I don’t want to be their tactical coach, I’ll rather go work with the jigsaw team.”
“A Diamonds coach for jigsaw still makes sense, you know. Meanwhile a Spades coach is going to be assigned to that team and won’t know what to do. How do you physically train jigsaw players? Fingers agility?” The tall woman wiggled her fingers in front of Chishiya, making obscene hand signs.
“Stop it, that’s gross.”
She didn’t.
(Borderland Play Organisation is organising trials to recruit both coaches and players in its professional gaming teams. Chishiya and Kuina have been working for BPO for a few years and have been assigned to coach in the esport section. Chishiya hates it. Meanwhile, Arisu has always dreamed to play for BPO.)
