When Blitz dies in a bar fight--REAL fucking embarrassing, he does NOT wanna talk about it--that should be the end, right? Poof, done, nothing more.
But maybe things are a little more complicated than he ever realized, and while it's not a whole "It's A Hellish Life" thing, he's honestly surprised at the whole train of Significant People In His Life who've got a few final words to say for him--and not all of it is bad? Somehow?? Fucking wild.
(And also, maybe, just maybe, there's a whole big misunderstanding about the dying thing--whatever. Still fucking embarrassing, let's talk about it fucking never.)

It is entirely possible, in Blitzø's opinion, that he is just FUCKING ALLERGIC to--birds, to magic, to some other mysterious fucking thing that is definitely not romance. Why else would he feel like shit every time something ELSE goes wrong with Stolas?
(Or: five times Blitzø rationalized it as being sick and one (and a half) times he knew it was love.)

Summary
Somewhere along the way in the aftermath of the Sinsmas debacle, Stolas picks up a volunteer gig reading to children at a library every other Saturday. With the advent of the Star Festival holiday, he takes the opportunity to try and introduce a little wishing ritual to his audience that he used to do with his daughter--and learns that maybe even a tired sad adult can have his wish granted, too.
