The words were a hot, dark whisper, directly into his brain. Phu’s eyes flew open. A bolt of pure, undiluted fear shot through him, colder than any pleasure. He shook his head, a frantic little motion, and whined, pushing his hips up to meet Cir’s thrusts, begging for more, for a distraction, for the world to just disappear back into this moment.
“Where’s my pup, baby? Tell me. Tell Alpha.”.
OR
In which Phu secretly has Cir's baby, and runs in order to protect his pup from the Alpha's dangerous world. They fall into bed a year later and Cir puts two and two together after seeing the changes in his Omega's body.

Usually when The Hunter laid a trap, he would venture away to lay more, not wanting to disrupt the site of his hopeful kill with his purely human scent, or the sounds of his leather gear sliding under the metal of his gun. But The Hunter had the taste of blood still on his tongue and he wanted to be sure that the next bunny he caught was from the same family, assuming that they would all be just as delicious.
It took hours. Hours of patience and waiting. Hours of letting the changing light filtering through the branches make hallucinations out of the morning mist evaporating and the chypre scent of summer sun drying wet leaves scenting the air.
The Hunter waited, and waited, and waited.

“Phukan. Look at me,” Cir says, in a no-nonsense voice that makes Phu want to obey and look up at him.
But looking at him means facing what comes next. It means seeing whatever look is on Cir’s face, and it probably means talking about what just happened, and Phu can’t. He just can’t. Cir never said he likes Phu, which means there’s still a possibility that he’s facing a rejection. That the kiss has made Cir realize that he’s not noticing Phu because he likes Phu, but just because he finds Phu and his antics annoying or weird or something else like that.
So instead of looking up, Phu does the only other thing he can do to avoid facing Cir.
