Summary
There was a child in the window of the Dellamorte manor. This wasn't a wholly unusual occurrence, given that two children lived in the manor, but usually when there was a child in the window they bore the Dellamorte name. This child clearly did not, a tiny elven girl with wild hair, her reflective eyes, like a cat's, what had given her away to the Crow-in-training inside the room.
Lucanis had a dagger in his hand and immediately crouched into a defensive position, though the little girl was both a small child and gave him no indication that she meant any harm. In fact, she was grinning at him, white teeth flashing out from her dirty face.
“Hello!” she greeted, voice soft but clear, utterly unfamiliar. “You should tell whoever owns this place that the lattice work outside the building needs some maintenance: most of it's rotted.”

Summary
Gentle kisses scattered across whatever parts of her he could reach, he was certain this was true paradise.
**
Silence filled the room for long moments, and Lucanis slowly convinced himself that he'd fucked up and scared her off. Though they'd known each other for nearly a decade, this thing between them was so new. One night of passion might not be enough for her to want this intimacy, this much commitment between them. He opened his mouth to tell her she didn't have to stay, to remind her that she had two other homes still waiting for her, but didn't get the chance.
The sudden impact of Rook's body thrown at him from all of a foot away was enough to drive him back two more steps, but her mouth hard on his own was enough to reassure him. She wasn't scared off, disgusted by him, overwhelmed by his affection. She was thrilled, touched, crying and laughing into his mouth.

Summary
Purple wings erupted from the ice, a figure as familiar as her own gliding down to eliminate the Venatori viciously and with breathtaking efficiency, one by one until all of them were dead. The Demon of Vyrantium, now more than just a name it seemed, stood before them and folded his wings until they vanished entirely, the purple haze about him, the glow of his eyes, slowly fading out.
He looked at them with clear eyes, and his mouth parted on a gasp. “Rook,” he breathed, and took three steps towards her before he remembered himself and stopped, glancing at her companion.
“Hi, Lucanis,” Rook replied lamely. She cleared her throat, intensely aware of all that was left unsaid between them. “Caterina sent us to get you out.”
Lucanis paused, considering her. “Why?” he asked at last, so much unspoken but loud in that one word.

After nearly three years of avoiding Antiva and the Crows, Rook has to go crawling back home to recruit her maybe-kinda-sorta ex-boyfriend to kill some gods. She's only a little fucked up about it.AKA: Where Do We Go From Here the fic

Summary
Careful not to spook him, Rook approached the demon driving the love of her life's body. “Spite, stop,” she said firmly. “You're not taking Lucanis through the eluvian.”
“I could,” Spite growled, glaring at Taash. “If you would move.”Series

Summary
Kahlia began whistling well in advance of where their map indicated the clan was located, and kept walking as she did, an excited bounce in her step. Zevran followed and waited for whatever she was summoning. Bird calls flowed from her lips, answered from the trees over and over, to the point that Zevran was uncertain how many of the calls were real birds and how many were elves passing news. By the time they reached the flat area halfway up Sundermount where the clan was camped, it seemed like the entire clan was there to greet them. The cheers were loud, boisterous, and the clan all but swallowed Kahlia into their midst as she laughed. Calls of her name, various Elvhen affectionate nicknames, and welcome flowed over the crowd in waves. Elves jumped and danced, an ocean of excitement, until the chaos suddenly coalesced into one united intent. A song flowed through the crowd, the words unknown to Zevran but joyous, the clan all holding each other, many of them freely crying in joy, laughter interrupting the song as the people simply couldn’t contain their feelings.
