Summary
When El had asked him, Quentin had hesitated, because even at the tender age of fourteen, he’d been well aware of the way his heart and body reacted to Eliot’s very presence. He’d wondered, painfully often, what it would be like to place his hands along the expanse of Eliot’s ribs, how it would feel to press their lips together. And doing what they had done, binding themselves together forever more… it meant he’d never get to find out.
(First, Eliot and Quentin end up together for the rest of their lives. Then, those lives get a lot more complicated.) -

Summary
“Holy shit,” Julia says. She lets her bag drop to the floor, her eyes wide as she walks around the statue. “Q, this is amazing. I knew you had talent from the stuff you made at Columbia, but this—wow.”
“Thanks,” Quentin says tightly. He looks over the sculpture, trying to imagine seeing it with Julia’s eyes. All he sees are the imperfections—the cracks in the clay that he needs to fill, the indentations of his fingers he needs to smooth out, or the malformed spots he needs to revisit. But when he strips all that away and imagines that someone else made it, that a stranger’s hands spent so many hours recreating the love of his life—he can admit it’s the best thing he’s ever made.
“Who is he?” Julia asks. “I don’t think I’ve met him. Pretty sure I would remember.”
“You remember a couple of months ago, I told you I kept dreaming about a guy?”
“Yeah? He’s—” She looks at the sculpture, and then back to Quentin. “No way. He’s real? You met him?” Her eyes are wide, a smile starting to form on her face.
“Not exactly,” Quentin says.
A Queliot fanfiction, with a Pygmalion twist.

Summary
"I knew back then that the spell worked for you," Quentin goes on, eagerness seeping back into his tone, "but neither of us had any idea— I mean, nobody remembers where it takes them, but it's still— it's nice to know." He's nearly grinning now, trying and failing to keep his excitement contained. "That it took you here, I mean. To me." His gaze flits over Eliot's face with something like awe, eyes wide and bright. "That we're soulmates."
or: Eliot takes an unexpected trip.

Summary
Eliot slams the flyer down on the table. “Fillory has an entire festival dedicated to fucking and I had no idea it existed? What the fuck, Margo?”
“It’s not dedicated to fucking,” Fen breaks in. “And it only happens every few years, because it’s dedicated to finding your soulmate.” She smiles brightly, her eyes sparkling as she sighs. “They only put ‘fucking’ in the title to get everyone’s attention. And because of all the brothels that are set up on the festival site.”
“Finding your soulmate?” Quentin breaks in. Eliot’s eyes cut over to him, a soft smile automatically forming on his face as he takes in Quentin’s crooked crown, and his soft brown eyes that are focused on Fen. “Like, a real ‘only one in the entire world for me’ soulmate?”
“Mmhmm,” Fen says, nodding. “Do they not have soulmates on Earth?”
“Only in Disney movies,” Margo says, sitting down in her chair. “And the best fanfiction ever written.”

Summary
Quentin and Eliot learn they're soulmates the first day they meet. It's a rollercoaster getting to know each other and their best friends, learning how to do magic for two, and figuring out how to navigate these new emotions as their lives change.
This is a reimagination of the story beginning with S01E01—except in Timeline 27.
I don't know if any of y'all noticed this, but the second time I watched S01E01, I focused on Eliot as they walked toward the test and found myself surprised at his facial expression. It looked to me like he was trying to ... suppress something—on his face and in his pants. It was never explained in canon, so I decided to do something about it.
