Update 8/8/21: I recc'd this story in my Dreamwidth today. As soon as I did, my muse demanded a "more vibrant" cover. I'll leave this one up -- different strokes for different folks, and some may like this one better -- but I'm cross-linking them for... reasons, I suppose.
