Early Tuesday afternoon Bristol’s prestigious Gotham Academy was shaken by a rather destructive Affiliation Reveal. Much of Gotham’s upper echelon has awaited the Affiliation Reveal of one Timothy Drake with bated breath. Registering at a 9 out of 10 on the Morton’s Magical Capacity Scale at just ten years old, Mr Drake is set to become one of the world’s most powerful magical users. Many of our readers will recall the outpouring of public support over Mr Drake’s early enrollment at the Academy to ensure he received the best magical training possible. Hopefully, many of us believed Timothy's rigorous education was a sign of devoted and forward thinking parents.

Unfortunately, readers, last Tuesday’s events have proven us all gravely mistaken. A source from inside Gotham Academy itself came forward to anonymously reveal that Mr Drake, at just 15, was responsible for the shadowy explosion that collapsed the East facing side of the Academy's Administrative Building. Gotham Academy’s Vice Principal, Amanda Neal, remains in hospital but is expected to make a full recovery and was fortunately the only victim of the out of control Affiliation Reveal.

Both Ms Neal and the young Mr Drake were rushed to the Thomas Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment following the event and, in an intriguing and unusual twist of events, Mr Drake was released from the hospital not into the care of his supposedly attentive parents but into the care of Gotham’s very own Bruce Wayne.

Infamous for his boozy parties and philanthropic pursuits, Mr Wayne has endeared himself to Gotham through his restoration projects and sponsoring of many young magic users. His own Affiliation Reveal was brought on by the sudden and tragic death of his parents and Mr Wayne is one of the few people to score a 10 out of 10 on the Morton’s Magical Capacity Scale. His adoption of Richard Grayson-Wayne and Jason Todd-Wayne, and the birth of his young son Damian Al Ghul-Wayne, proved him interested in the domestic dance of fatherhood and now this reporter is left wondering; was Mr Drake released into the care Mr Wayne because of some innocuous mishap and their shared Affiliation, or is something more sinister at play in the drawing rooms of Gotham's elite?
