Summary
Sam Carter doesn’t have an eating disorder. That isn’t something that happens to people like her. She likes to be in control, that’s the thing; and when she can’t control anything else at least she can control her body, what goes into it and how much it weighs and what size of clothes it fits into. It's healthy. It’s normal. She’s fine.
Until she isn’t.
When taking that control too far puts her life in danger, it takes Dr. Frasier and SG-1 working together to help her heal.
Alternately: Sam Carter definitely has an eating disorder, she has for a long time. It isn’t normal, it isn’t healthy, she isn’t fine, and accepting that is the first step towards healing. Luckily, she has a lot of people who love her, so she doesn’t have to do any of it alone.
