Out of unfettered, defiant instinct, James squared his shoulders and brought his hands out of the shorts pockets. “No, I’m not. But I’m taking a big fucking chance so–” He did another once-over of Jason, evaluating. No, he wasn’t wrong. Jason was just acting like a trepidatious deer. Well, James felt like a hungry lion. “If you’re not into it, let me know, otherwise I’ll never be able to talk to you again.”
James’ boldness only made him hotter. So hot that despite the cool breeze, Jason’s chest was burning and his hands burned to touch the golden hair and golden skin and pink lips. “Okay,” he said, tucking the vape away into his pocket. “If you’re serious, c’mere.”
